With forecasted -25 degree temps, we knew the day was going to be a challenge! Steve and Jo come every year from the UK though and we wanted to make the most of the trip. We decided on Professors, a classic grade 4 route right in Banff. With 8 pitches of fun, climbing in a cool rock canyon, the climb is found on Mt Rundle between Canmore and Banff. Once again we found ourselves enjoying the climb to ourselves most of the day, and also could see people climbing on the Trophy wall on our hike out. I can’t say I was envious of them in these temps!! Once again Steve and Jo impressed, as the climb had nicely reformed in the cold temperature and the ice was more challenging then it normally is! Another great day out and I’m already looking forward to next year when Steve and Jo return for their yearly voyage:)
